Dear subscribers to the Boston-Area Consortium for Kant and 19th Century German Philosophy webpage,
I hope your semester has been going well so far. On behalf of the Consortium, I would like to advertise some upcoming events kindly hosted by members of our Consortium. These events have been added to our events page.
- On Friday, December 5, Michael Rosen and Harvard PhD candidate Enza Jonas-Giugni will be hosting a European Philosophy workshop with the theme The Ethical Life, at the Minda De Gunzburg Center for European Studies. Here is the flyer. Speakers will be from Barnard, Harvard, BU, and Princeton. All are welcome to join but registration is encouraged, and registered attendees will be provided lunch. - On Thursday, December 11, Paul Katsafanas will be hosting the Workshop on Love, Hate, and Reactive Attitudes at Boston University. Talks will focus on XIX century thinkers. Speakers are from Princeton, Yale, Swarthmore, Cardiff, and Harvard. Registration is required, and can be done through the flyer. Lunch will be provided. Contact Paul at (pkatsa [at] bu [dot] edu).
